BEHIND THE MUSIC

Insomnea is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Washington, D.C. She attended University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance in 2015. Shortly after completing school she moved to Brooklyn, NY to pursue her dreams and career in music. Insomnea is a variety of different styles: neo-soul, hip hop, jazz and electronic music. She makes music to spread messages about love, social and political issues,and positivity. Her goal is to connect with as many people as she can through her music.
